WHAT SORT OF RESULTS WILL I GET?

The two most obvious results of ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP are fat loss and increased cardio vascular fitness. Other benefits of this training regime are increased muscle tone, improved muscular strength and endurance, agility, and improved self-esteem and confidence.


Will i be okay if i’m a complete beginner?

Yes, over the years we have helped many beginners, even those who have NEVER exercised in their life. We will focus on your technique and tweak your form before building up the intensity. With constant exercise correction, there will be less chance of injury and the results will escalate with perfect form.

As your fitness builds, we will then motivate you to another level and repeat this process to ensure you constantly improve to achieve your goals.


how long has ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP BEEN OPERATING?

ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP was founded in 1991 by ‘Chief’ James Brabon and it was launched in Adelaide, South Australia by Rob Coad in 2006.


DOES ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP OFFER ANY OTHER PROGRAMS OR CHALLENGES?

Yes, we often offer our clients a range of adventurous challenges and social events, including international fitness holidays, weekend escapes, trail running, hiking and pop up workouts. Keep an eye out on our website and join our mailing list to ensure you never miss any of our exciting events.


WHAT does ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP involve?

The course is designed in a way, so that you will get maximum results in the time that you spend with us. – Don’t worry, there is no yelling or swearing, blowing of whistles or anything like that, just motivational and challenging exercise to get you moving and help you achieve some great results.

Your first session consists of a Benchmark workout so that we can place you into a section (depending on your results) with people of a similar fitness level. You all do the same Bootcamp workout at the same time, but obviously, just at different levels.

Each monthly program is designed specifically to make sure that you work your body in every aspect with a combination of cardio and strength training, the sessions are progressive, and meaning that every single session requires you to work harder than the last. You will never get bored as no two sessions are the same!

The variety of equipment from session to session is extensive; it may include tyres, mooring ship ropes, Alphabags/Alphaballs (sandbags/sandballs), stretchers, ammo boxes, Battling Ropes, Battle Bars plus many more.


IS ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP SAFE?

Safety is paramount. We take every precaution to ensure that you are safe at all times.

Our instructor team are first aid certified. We encourage every recruit to manage their own personal safety by wearing suitable exercise clothing, shoes and to maintain safe levels of hydration during exercise. Each recruit is required to complete a pre-exercise questionnaire and where necessary will be advised to obtain medical clearance prior to commencement.

Please note that our instructors can prevent you from participating if they suspect an activity will be unsafe or dangerous for your health and well being. During the sessions please make the instructors aware of any changes to your health or any new injuries that may be affected during your sessions.


DO WE STILL WORKOUT IN THE RAIN & heat?

Yes, we train in all weather. However, we will cancel a session if there is lighting in the area. During the heat we may modify the sessions and have water nearby to keep you safe as possible at all times.


WHO WILL YOUR INSTRUCTORS BE?

All ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP instructors are qualified fitness professionals with the necessary fitness industry recognition and are competent providers of the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP Training Program.


DO YOU CATER FOR TEAMS AND WORKPLACES?

Yes, we offer corporate training & sporting preseason packages that can be tailored to suit your needs. Team workouts, weekend escapes and even International fitness holidays are a great way to build morale and teach your team to work together. Contact us for more information.


IF I MISS A SESSION CAN I MAKE IT UP IN ANOTHER BLOCK?

The ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP program must be completed in one 4 week block. Make up sessions are only available within the same block/month that you are registered in.


IF I CHOOSE TO NOT CONTINUE WITH ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP WILL I GET A REFUND?

Once a course commences there are no refunds.


ARE THERE ANY RULES OR REGULATIONS I NEED TO FOLLOW?

Yes, all recruits must abide by these Rules + Regulations as part of their commitment to ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP.


IS THERE ANY PARKING NEAR THE WORKOUT AREA?

Yes, all our locations have free parking during the ORIGINAL BOOTCAMP session times.


WHERE CAN I PUT MY CAR KEYS DURING THE WORKOUTS?

On arrival there is a key box for you to place your keys so they are safe while you exercise.


DO YOU PLAY MUSIC DURING THE WORKOUTS?

Never.


WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY BOOT CAMP SESSIONS?

Number 1 is a POSITIVE ATTITUDE. You will also have to bring comfortable workout gear with appropriate shoes you can run in. Also bring a full water bottle, and long pants if you are allergic to grass. All other equipment will be supplied.
